Your online wedding expert could be anyone. Anyone with a vague command of language and a bit of free time can write a wedding blog, but that doesn’t mean she or he is the best person to advise you. Here’s some top tips to help you find a respectable supplier (on the internet). On looking at the wedding supplier’s blog or website can you deduce the following:
Wedding Expert – How to Sort the Online Wheat from the Chaff
- Have they had any recommendations by other blogs, websites or suppliers?
- Do they have any customer testimonials on their website. (You can see mine here)
- Expertise – Check that some knowledge of the industry is displayed (You can see my advice articles here) and that they’re not just trying to sell you stuff you don’t want, without understanding your requirements
- Do they display have many contacts in the wedding industry, who could provide a reference (I refer constantly in my blog to suppliers, I know and trust)
If the answer is yes to all or at least most of these, they may well be worth a try…
